DECEMBER 5th
11:30 AM King Tide Walk - Portland Waterfront Coordinator Bill Needleman was invited by the Gulf of Maine Research Institute, King Tide Party and Friends of Casco Bay to lead a walking tour of flood sites in Bayside and East Bayside.
11:45 AM Fowler Beach, Long Island, ME - Living Cold performed a cold-water swim to mark the arrival of King Tide. Green crab stew was served to the swimmers by environmental scientist and localvore Lisa Willey. Students from the Long Island School observed the swimmers and wrote messages to King Tide.

11:45 AM Chebeague Island - Photographers Beverly Johnson and Cathy MacNeill recorded the impact of King Tide on Bennett Cove and other sites on Chebeague.
